Hope
Healthcare encourages research by our staff and enables research by others using
our resources. We conduct seminars
and training activity for health professionals and others within the community.
We maintain affiliations with tertiary institutions including the University of New South Wales and University
of Sydney.
Fostering
research Hope
Healthcare fosters research through the work of our Human
Research Ethics Committee (HREC). This
Committee considers the ethical implications of all proposed research projects
within Hope Healthcare and determines whether or not they are acceptable on
ethical grounds. The
HREC is also responsible for ensuring the scientific or applied worth of
research projects conducted using Hope Healthcare resources. For
more detail on the work of the HREC, including applications to undertake
research, Click Here
to go to the Human Research
Ethics Committee page.
Supporting
research within our organisation We offer up to $10,000 support for a project, or projects in any one-year under the Hope Healthcare Research Grant scheme. Research grant applications are open to members of staff only, within any discipline, on subjects relevant to the work in which they are engaged.

Healthcare Research Grant scheme, Click Here

Ethics Committee page.
Fostering
learning Regular
training seminars for health professionals and others covering areas related to
our specialised core services are organised within Hope Healthcare. Upcoming Seminars Seminar activity that is open to health professionals is listed here throughout the year. |
